Good corporate citizenship is part of our culture.
K&A does great work for our clients and good works in our communities. K&A supports numerous organizations through the time, talent and treasure of the K&A Family. We commit a percentage of our profits to non-profit partnerships and we also add 50% to employee recognition awards to allow employees to nominate an organization to receive a company donation.
K&A employees contributed $500 and K&A matched this donation to support Junior Achievement (JA) of Northeastern NY. JA inspires young people with K-12 curriculum focused on financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. “This check will allow more than 300 students to experience JA programs, many of which are offered in socio-economically diverse areas we serve,” Tovah Lisky, JA President.
K&A Nepal celebrated K&A Day by distributing clothing items and meals to help support children and lower income families. K&A employees provided clothing to over 64 children and provided over 100 meals to those in need.
In Glen Mills, K&A worked with “Jeeps for Joy.” Jeeps for Joy’s goal is to help children and their families have the happiest holiday season they could, during emotionally and financially stressful time. Mike Jasinski from Jeeps for Joy says, “This helps a lots especially during COVID because one of our primary events is delivering toys to children’s hospitals which we can’t now for obvious safety reasons.
K&A’s office in Bangor, Maine made a generous donation of $250 to Bread of Life Ministries. This donation will provide food and shelter to veterans, families and those in need.
The Orange, CT K&A office gathered canned food and nonperishable food items to donate to their local shelter. “We look forward to donating again. We plan on making a food donation around thanksgiving and toys around the holidays.” -Robert Russ
